Ok so I have to take this the on the 2nd and 3rd of November before a colonoscopy, have you had it before? What’s it like? Does it make you tummy feel like its burning like the enema they put into your bottom in hospital, does it make you sick? Does it taste horrible?

Also in being sedated I think they are using versed, I’ve heard some horror stories about this stuff! Is it really that bad? If any of you have had it can you give me some info on how it made u feel? Do u remember the procedure? What was you like after? Etc

Any help on both questions would be very much appreciated thanks!

I have heard that versed can cause long term memory problems, I would avoid it if at all possible. It is possible to have a colonscopy without any sedation and I have known people who have done that. Talk to your dr, surely they can come up with something safer than versed?

The fleet phospho soda taste really salty if I remember correctly.
