  1. I think it would be better to give her a liquid laxative… that way you can mix it with a drink… be sure to ask you doc first though…

another option (hate to say it) but do it while she is napping…. (if she is a heavy sleeper) but try to do a liquid laxative it could work.

  2. give her chocolate exlax and some prune juice instead…..if I were 8 and you came at me with something to shove up my butt…..I would run and freak out too…..go to the store and get the exlax.

  3. Exhale than inhale.

    Or, see a doctor?

  4. There is other things to do, like dulcolax, which is a laxative, fleet, which is a laxative, childrens philips laxative- which is a drink
These things really do work excellently, without any inserts. Just taken by mouth. Some are chewables, pills, and drinks. Look them up. I recommend them.

  5. sing to her, talk to her, as her mother you can calm her down just by reasuring her :)

  6. An Enema is supposed to clean out someones butt not making some one poop. take your daughter to the doctor.

  7. how??

    just do it i say

if ya coddle them…they ll hem und haw/.///

i say do it und get it over with

I will not be a patsy und walk on eggshells…like kindoms come

nein….do it und get it over with i say

  8. after all the answers above are correct for the long haul try getting her to eat more fruits & veggies. She should also drink lots of water, apple juice, and prune juice. Get some prunes as a chewy treat. If she is really a picky eater then there are fiber pills for children & fiber mixes

  9. Prepare the enema/suppositories in advance, out of her sight. Then steer her towards the bathroom/bedroom… Don’t waste time trying to distract her, you need to get tough with her here. after all this is medicine, it’s your responsibility as a parent to give it and hers to take it. It may unfortunately be necessary to have another adult on the scene to grab her and restrain her if she doesn’t co-operate! When you’ve got her panties down, put her across your lap like a baby and put the suppository/enema in quickly.
Make sure she retains it for 5-10 minutes – pref. whilst sitting on the toilet. Remember it only takes 10-20 minutes to empty her bowels – you won’t have long to wait, soon she’ll do a smelly and it’ll all be over!

  10. Unless a doctor told you to do this; why are you traumatizing this little girl? Do you want her to grow up with some of the same hang ups many of us developed as a result of childhood enemas. Talk to the doctor and see what laxative he recommends.

  11. You should not give her a enema because it would hert her!!
You should try to give her a saposetorie and if she dosent let you then take her to the doctor or give her a lolipop or something!

  12. Who is the parent?
